RALEIGH, NC, May 04, 2011 (Press-News.org) Raleigh Little Theatre is pleased to present Sideways Stories from Wayside School. This fun, intelligent play for children is also a surprising pleasure for adults and teens. The play will be directed by Linda O'Day Young and performed in the RLT Gaddy-Goodwin Teaching Theatre May 6 - 22, 2011.
John Olive has compiled the best scenes from Louis Sachar's award-winning Wayside School series and compressed them into a clever children's play that captures the wacky playfulness of the award-winning books.
The classrooms of Wayside School are stacked one on top of the other thanks to a mistake by the builders. The craziness escalates as you climb your way up to the 30th floor. Come experience the strange encounters and screwy adventures that challenge the students during this entertaining play!
Please join Raleigh Little Theatre for Sideways Stories from Wayside School, May 6-22 and help continue to celebrate 75 years of outstanding theatre.
Tickets for Sideways Stories from Wayside School are $13 for teen/adults and $9 for child. Tickets can be purchased online at http://www.raleighlittletheatre.org or from the RLT Box Office at 919-821-3111.
