Aspen Grove Salon Becomes Castle Rock's First Natural and Organic Hair Salon

Aspen Grove Salon (relocated to 821B Park Street) will soon celebrate its one-year anniversary as the first natural and organic hair salon in Castle Rock, Colorado. Master stylists provide haircuts, styles, color, extensions, and other services.

2011-05-05
CASTLE, ROCK, CO, May 05, 2011 (Press-News.org) In the spring of 2010, Aspen Grove Salon relocated to 821B Park Street, and will soon celebrate its one-year anniversary as the first natural and organic hair salon in Castle Rock, Colorado. Master stylists at this upscale salon provide expert haircuts, styles, color, extensions, permanent straightening, and other enhancements, as well as natural and organic makeup and waxing services.

Salon owner Caroline Douglas remarks, "An increasing number of people are becoming aware of the health hazards associated with many common chemicals--especially in the beauty industry. Looking your best shouldn't mean putting your health at risk."

Douglas and her team of experienced stylists bring decades of experience to the salon, and Douglas herself has trained alongside hair icons such as Vidal Sassoon and Kris Sorby.

"At Aspen Grove Salon, we strive to provide more than just a great hair experience," states Douglas. "We know that referrals and word-of-mouth are our absolute best form of advertising, and every client of our salon represents our company, which is why we ensure complete customer satisfaction."

The salon, conveniently located at the corner of Park Street and Wolfensberger Road in Castle Rock, features custom Beetle Kill woodwork and a striking interior design. Walls are adorned in warm earth tones, which make the unique aspen workstations and handmade furniture truly stand out.

Douglas insists on using sulphate-free and paraben-free products throughout the salon, and has recently begun offering natural hair extensions. Unlike traditional hair extensions, these require no glue and are affixed with tiny beads, which can be easily applied and removed with no damage to the natural hair itself.

The salon's color line is Alfaparf, an Italian product providing vibrant permanent and demi-permanent color for dramatic and long-lasting shine. Shampoos, conditioners and styling products are provided by the Australian-based Kevin Murphy, and California-based company, Eufora.

Through the month of May, Aspen Grove Salon is offering a special for new clients: a complimentary shampoo, blow dry and style. Douglas claims "confidence and comfort" are the keys to choosing a personal hair stylist. She remarks: "We offer this service as an introduction to our salon, allowing individuals to get to know our talented team without any risk whatsoever. Our hope is that this introduction will allow a potential client to feel comfortable enough to schedule future appointments."

Salon hours are 10:00AM until 8:00PM Tuesday through Thursday, and 9:00AM until 6:00PM on Friday and Saturday. Appointments are recommended by calling 303.663.4772 during business hours.
