HONOLULU, HI, May 05, 2011 (Press-News.org) The CTO Telecom Summit team announced today that it has formed a strategic partnership with the Telecom Council of Silicon Valley, a business tool that connects companies and individuals involved in the region's communications technology industry with one another to speed up the business development and innovation processes - helping push the industry forward.

Telecom Council members include the top ten global carriers, including China Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon Wireless as well as vendors such as Huawei, Qualcomm and Intel; venture capitalists such as Norwest Venture Partners, Battery Ventures and Motorola Ventures; and countless startups.

The CTO Telecom Summit, September 18-21, 2011, brings together CTOs, IT executives and solution providers to share best practices, discuss industry trends, and make new business contacts. Agenda topics to be discussed at the event include utilizing open source solutions for a competitive edge, trends and challenges around IT outsourcing, the emerging wireless transformation, and driving organizational growth with cloud computing.

The Telecom Council of Silicon Valley provides the network, tools, framework, and meetings to bring together the industry's local critical mass of wireless and fixed telecom companies, research, ideas, capital, and human expertise to create a hub for local telecom professionals and increase their global visibility.
