Peacocks Styles Televised as Brand Receives an Affordable Fashion Nomination

A dedication to value for money fashion is recognised as Peacocks items appear on ITV's The Lorraine Show following a nomination in the High Street Fashion Awards.

GLASGOW, May 08, 2011 (Press-News.org) Peacocks end another week of great coverage successfully with a polka dot Pearl Lowe for Peacocks dress and accessories shown on ITV's The Lorraine Show to highlight the company's nomination for best affordable fashion in the High Street Fashion Awards. A curve accentuating bikini from Peacocks was spotted in Good Housekeeping and several items from the company's summer collections were included in the style pages of the weeklies.

The Peacocks coverage of the day started on morning TV, after the company was nominated for best the affordable fashion category in the Lorraine High Street Fashion Awards. A Pearl Lowe for Peacocks dress and accessories were modelled on the Lorraine show as the nominations were discussed.

Good Housekeeping picked out the best swimwear for summer, featuring a Peacocks paisley print bikini as the top style for creating curves on a boyish figure.

Flower prints from Peacocks were a hit in Love It magazine with a pair of floral sunglasses and floral denim shorts from the high street retailer featured as perfect honeymoon picks.

The nautical fashion pieces available at Peacocks got a brilliant four hits in Pick Me Up while Inside Soap featured a pair of Peacocks tan wedges in an article showing readers how to get actress Tina O'Brien's glam look.

Dundee's Sunday Post featured two dresses from the Peacocks By Design collection, saying: "The range takes its inspiration from catwalks and highly-priced fashion collections but still offers the value for money that Peacocks is famous for."

The range of make-up available at Peacocks also came into focus in the press, as Shout magazine included the company's Evie Glam glitter eye shadow in its Get Juicy beauty spread.
