DBConvert for MySQL and DB2 is an effective application which allows you to easily convert MySQL databases to DB2 and vice versa, unlike other similar tools, which commonly perform only one-way conversion.

DBConvert for MySQL and DB2 performs Unicode support as well as a large number of useful features such as interactive (GUI) mode / command line mode, detection of possible conversion errors, flexible task scheduling with built-in scheduler, data filtering, data mapping, etc. The program is extremely easy to use, it was implemented like a common wizard-like application, so even an inexperienced user will be able to work with it. A number of other features included:

- Character Large Object (CLOB), Binary Large Object (BLOB) DB2 data types smooth conversion to MySQL types;
- Unicode Support / Connection character sets support;
- Foreign keys (relations) support;
- Advanced customization options;
- Ability to save sessions for further use;
- Connection to MySQL database servers and DB2 servers;
- MySQL Dump file creation.

DBConvert for MySQL and DB2 allows to copy the whole database as well as to convert particular tables, fields, indexes and foreign keys. Conversion to MySQL Dump and PHP script is also available. Ability to store data into a dump file and PHP script is the best way to present deferred conversion and gain more control over the conversion process.
