Caring Technologies Inc. Changes Name to Behavior Imaging Solutions, Inc.

Rebranding Reflects Leadership Role in Behavioral Health Technology

BOISE, ID, September 14, 2010

Caring Technologies Inc., developer of the proprietary Behavior Imaging technology, unveiled a new brand identity today, changing its name to Behavior Imaging Solutions, Inc. The timing coincides with its recent registered trademark award, and reflects the company's history and commitment to Behavior Imaging technology as a means of treating behavioral disorders with greater accuracy and cost-effectiveness. The company's rebranding effort is intended to establish broader market application of Behavior Imaging as an innovative and versatile solution for healthcare providers and educational institutions.

"Behavior Imaging has evolved from a technology mostly used in the home by parents looking to understand their child's autism to a broad scale solution for school districts, health clinics, and the military to use in multiple applications in health and special education, for conditions that currently range from autism, post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury, and special education," noted CEO Ron Oberleitner. "With this rebranding, we will more effectively establish Behavior Imaging's growing importance in the behavioral healthcare marketplace while creating a flagship brand for our current and future product suite."

Behavior Imaging applies a proprietary video technology to capture real-time behaviors as they occur in their natural environment, improving the accuracy of diagnosis and treatment. In the same way that x-rays and MRIs are indispensable tools for visualizing physical conditions of the body, Behavior Imaging provides first-hand, contextual information for better diagnosis and treatment of behavioral disorders. The technology also facilitates next-minute consultation by behavior and mental health specialists anywhere in the world and allows for secure online sharing, annotation, and storage of the video and other data via health record technology.

With validation from National Institutes of Health-funded studies as a more effective means of gathering data to treat autism, Behavior Imaging's adoption rate has increased rapidly since 2007. The technology is being used in hundreds of schools nationwide, and notably in the behavioral healthcare industry by leading organizations such as Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center, Monash University (Australia's largest university), and the U.S. Air Force. In addition, the Idaho State Department of Education implemented a statewide adoption of Behavior Imaging to streamline the submission and scoring of special education student assessments and reduce the time, effort, and cost of compliance with the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001.

Caring Technologies Inc. was founded in 2005 by CEO Ron Oberleitner and his wife Sharon, who serves as VP of Corporate Affairs. Their son Robby was diagnosed with autism in 1996, at the age of 3. Since Robby's diagnosis, the Oberleitners have dedicated their careers to helping other families and professionals by improving the accessibility of treatment for children with autism. This includes having founded other technology-based services including TalkAutism.org, a communications network/community portal that attracted up to a million visits annually by parents, organizations, and specialists and deemed Best of the Web by Forbes and AutismCares.

Behavior Imaging Solutions, Inc.
