PHUKET, THAILAND, May 13, 2011 (Press-News.org) As such leading online hotel comparator DirectRooms.com is advising people holidaying in Treviso this year to book their accommodation well ahead to avoid disappointment.
Taking place for the fourth consecutive year, the World Mountain Bike Race attracts endurance cyclists from all over Europe to test themselves against the peaks and valleys of Montebelluna.
The format of the mountain biking and cycling event is that racers must complete stages in certain timeframes and pass through gates where spectators typically gather to watch the excitement.
The main races of the event include the expert's race of over 116 kilometres plus a race for less experienced riders at 77 kilometres. Both races take place at high altitude so those cyclists who may suffer from vertigo should not apply to take part!
The World Mountain Bike Race takes place on 26th June this year and Treviso is expecting to see many visitors head into town to take part or spectators. As such cheap Treviso Airport hotels could be at a premium.
Lek Boonlert, marketing head at DirectRooms.com, says: "Treviso is one of those places in Italy which enjoys a cult following and generally has a lot of visitors each summer. With that in mind we are advising people to book their place to stay well ahead of traveling to be sure of getting a good deal on the kind of hotel they want."
