DETROIT, MI, May 13, 2011 (Press-News.org) DMC Harper Bariatric Medicine Institute (Harper BMI) will host a free public educational seminar on weight management, in addition to Harper BMI's Comprehensive Detroit Bariatric Surgery Program. Wood, M.D., will present important information on the latest surgical approaches to overcoming obesity and chronic diseases related to obesity. Bariatric surgery options presented will include the Lap Band, gastric sleeve and minimally invasive gastric bypass surgery, as well as the use of robotic technology for the bariatric procedure.
