Brian Tippens is the Senior Director of Global Procurement Sustainability & Innovation at Hewlett-Packard. In this role, Brian manages and sets the strategic direction for a global program, which works to ensure that minority-owned and other under-represented businesses have an opportunity to become HP suppliers or service providers. He also oversees strategic supplier development and sustainability across HP's $20B +multi-billion dollar global non-production goods and services supply chain. This encompasses all procurement for internal use within HP, as well as the entire supply chain supporting HP's Enterprise Services trade activity indirect and professional services supply chain. In the area of sustainability, Brian is responsible for driving implementation of Social & Environmental Responsibility and green procurement policies into HP procurement.

Brian serves as an adjunct professor of Legal Studies at Kaplan University, and is a former University of San Francisco faculty member. He currently serves as Board Chairman of the Texas Business Alliance (TBA) and a board member or advisor to the Canadian Aboriginal Minority Supplier Council (CAMSC) ; Texas Business Alliance (TBA); and the International Program Committee of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC).

Brian holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of San Francisco, and a Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.
