LOS ANGELES, CA, September 15, 2010

Since its doors opened almost a year ago, HairPlaay Studio has become a hip, chic place for the Hollywood crowd to get their locks coiffed into the hottest LA styles. Started by Deana Reed, a celebrity stylist, HairPlaay Studio has recently been recognized as one of the best in the business by BET Networks. On Tuesday, September 14, 2010, the cameras will be rolling, catching Deana and her experienced team in action for an episode of "My Black is Beautiful". Check the BET's website for date of show.

HairPlaay Studio is excited to be featured in "My Black is Beautiful", a program celebrates the beauty of black women and encourages young girls to define and promote their own beauty standard. Deana is thrilled with this opportunity for her and her stylists to show off their cutting edge techniques for hair extensions, blow outs and weaves. Deana is no stranger to the entertainment world. She has over 20 years experience having worked on top film sets and film shoots and she has styled everyone from Naomi Campbell to Malcolm Jamal Warner to Michelle Williams. She brings her unique style to clients with the philosophy that everyone has their own style of beauty that can be enhanced with the right hairstyle.

Celebrating its first year of successful business in November, owner Deana Reed is thrilled to announce the extreme growth of the salon. Not only has a large clientele base been established in a relatively short amount of time, but the salon has also grown internally, with a grand total of 7 seasoned staff members (including a top aesthetician, Richard Merrill and massage therapist, Divinity Warmsley), who are continuously undergoing new and innovative training to better serve clientele. The salon has been such a success that its services have expanded to include facials, waxings and massages.

HairPlaay Studio is conveniently located in the trendy Third Street area (Third and Crescent Heights), close to the world famous Grove Shopping Center. HairPlaay Studio is open for business seven days a week (Sunday and Monday 12pm - 5pm, Tuesday thru Thursday 10am - 7pm, Friday and Saturday 9am - 7pm) and the on-the-go clients can easily make an appointment online at: http://www.hairplaay.com
