Idaho Falls Location of Stevens-Henager College Now Offers More Degree Options

Idaho Falls Location Serving the Higher Education Needs of Residents

IDAHO FALLS, ID, May 18, 2011 (Press-News.org) Stevens-Henager College would like to announce that its Idaho Falls location is now a branch campus, offering bachelor's, associate's, and occupational associate's degree programs. The location had previously been serving Idaho Falls residents as a College Education Center in support of online programs.

The Idaho Falls location was opened in June 2009 to assist local online students with off-line support by facilitating educational activities and social events, as well as by providing career services. Now, as a branch, it will be able to offer on-site programs with face-to-face courses and labs. The campus is located in the Sunnyside Professional Plaza attached to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Stevens-Henager College (which includes Independence University ) and its affiliates CollegeAmerica and California College San Diego have sixteen locations across the country offering classroom-based and online degree programs, designed to help make a better career more accessible.

"A college degree is an important part of an individual's professional success trajectory, and college-educated residents are the cornerstone of a strong community. We are thrilled to be able to offer locals an opportunity to complete their bachelor's, associate's, and occupational associate's degrees without needing to leave Idaho Falls," said Shane Reeder, regional director of Stevens-Henager College, Idaho.

The Idaho Falls branch will offer the following degree programs:
• Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting
• BS in Accounting with an emphasis in Forensic Accounting
• BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Business Administration or Property Management
• BS in Computer Science
• BS in Healthcare Administration
• Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Business Management and Accounting
• AAS in Business Management and Accounting with an emphasis in Property Management
• AAS in Computer Programming
• AAS in Computer Technology and Networking
• AAS in Graphic Arts
• Associate of Occupational Studies (AOS) in Medical Specialties

Stevens-Henager College has approximately 650 students enrolled in the state of Idaho.

The Idaho Falls campus is a branch of CollegeAmerica Flagstaff, AZ.
