Created by the Institute of Certified Bankers (ICB) and Ascensus, the CISP certification formally recognizes individuals meeting standards of experience, ethics, knowledge, and performance in the IRA industry. To become a CISP, applicants must have a minimum of four years dedicated IRA experience, submit a professional reference attesting to their qualifications, and pass a rigorous exam.
