Join NAAFA in the "Do One Thing for Diversity and Inclusion Campaign" on May 21, 2011

NAAFA joins the United Nation's efforts to advocate for diversity and inclusion by becoming part of the "Do One Thing for Diversity and Inclusion Campaign".

FOSTER CITY, CA, May 18, 2011 (Press-News.org) NAAFA is taking the lead to increase the focus on size diversity by joining the "Do One Thing for Diversity and Inclusion Campaign". This major worldwide campaign is assisting the United Nations to advocate for diversity and inclusion. The goal is to mobilize one million people around the world to "Do One Thing for Diversity and Inclusion". The campaign centers around World Day for Cultural Diversity to be observed on Saturday May 21st.

"This is an excellent opportunity to broaden the message of size diversity and inclusion. NAAFA is excited to take the lead and encourage its members, supporters, and other organizations to register and highlight their efforts on size diversity", states Lisa Tealer, a NAAFA Board Member, Director of Programs and a Diversity and Inclusion professional.

Individuals are asked to show their support by "Liking" and/or posting a wall message on "Do One Thing's" Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/DoOneThingforDiversityandInclusion
Organizations are asked to show their support by registering at: http://www.quickbase.com/db/bf5un9pk3 and encourage their members/employees to post a comment on the Facebook wall and/or "Like" the page to show their support.
