WARRENVILLE, IL, May 19, 2011 (Press-News.org) The Urgent Care Association of America is pleased to announce its membership elected two new members to the organization's Board of Directors last week during its annual National Urgent Care Convention in Chicago. More than 650 urgent care professionals gathered at the Convention to sharpen their skills, network with new and old colleagues, meet with the 260+ exhibitor reps in the biggest urgent care Exhibit Hall around, and more.
UCAOA welcomes newly elected Board Members:
Roger Hicks, MD - Dr. Hicks is Medical Director and Co-owner of Yubadocs Urgent Care in Grass Valley, CA and Harmony Health Medical Clinic in Marysville, CA. He is a member of UCAOA's Legislative and Regulatory Issues Committee, the Urgent Care Assurance Company Board of Directors, and is founder and a director of the South Yuba River Citizens League, one of California's most effective environmental groups. Hicks graduated from Brown University and received his MD degree from Cornell University Medical College.
Steven P. Sellars, MBA - Sellars is CEO of Premier Health, serves as a board member for a multi-site rehabilitation company and the Baton Rouge Primary Care Collaborative, is an active member of UCAOA's Certification Committee, and is a member of the Medical Group Management Association. He received his B.S. and M.B.A. from Louisiana State University.
