ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, NJ, May 19, 2011 (Press-News.org) Lower East Side native and openly gay pop artist Sir Ari Gold is a buzz worthy, subculture celebrity in his own right, quickly winning over critics far beyond the reach of the LGBT community. In a "TrueBlood meets Mad Men fantasy dreamscape" Ari's music video for his single "Make My Body Rock" captivates attention with bold imagery and a dirty beat with just enough grit to satisfy even the pickiest of ears.
Ari Gold is not only an Award-Winning Billboard Top 10 Recording Artist, but has had his music featured on VH1, MTV, NPR, IFC, BBC, HBO, and LOGO. As a native New Yorker and a fourth generation Jew to call the lower east side home, this performance has significant meaning to Sir Ari Gold. Gold is also involved with the non-profit organization LIVEOUTLOUD.info, as Gold puts it, ""I particularly like the work that Liveoutloud.info does as it goes beyond alerting people to LGBT bullying, they actually work to build self esteem for those youths that often find it challenging to be socially different."
"Make My Body Rock" is featured on Ari's fourth studio album, Between the Spirit & the Flesh, available for pre-release on iTunes May 17. The album also includes the soon to be released single, "Sparkle" featuring Sara Dash from the original Labelle fame. The video will be premiered at Gold's upcoming Album Release party at Industry in New York City on Wednesday May 25th.
