The Oncology Institute of Hope and Innovation Founder Richy Agajanian to focus more time in Glendale

Dr. Richy Agajanian, founder of The Oncology Institute of Hope and Innovation, recently announced his intention to dedicate more of his time to the Glendale clinic in an effort to better serve the San Gabriel Valley.

GLENDALE, CA, May 22, 2011 (Press-News.org) The leader in providing state-of-the-art medical care and comprehensive cancer treatment, The Oncology Institute has had a presence in Glendale since February. "Our goal is to serve as large of a population in Southern California as possible and our Glendale location opens up our doors to a group that otherwise would not be able to come south of the 110 Freeway," said Agajanian in a statement last week.

Agajanian has been a leader in the field of Oncology as his Institute has grown to 8 locations in Southern California in less than a decade. Dr. Agajanian is triple board-certified by the American Board of Medical Oncology, the American Board of Hematology and the American Board of Internal Medicine. Fellowship-trained in Hematology and Oncology at UCLA-Olive View Medical Center/Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Dr. Agajanian earned his medical degree from the University of California-Irvine College of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine residency at UCLA. Prior to this, he graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Physiology and Neuroscience from the University of California-San Diego, where he received top honors in his department.

Dr. Christopher Ho also joins Dr. Agajanian in serving patients in Glendale. The Institute is located at 435 Arden Ave., Suite 520.
