BEDFORD, NH, May 26, 2011 (Press-News.org) Technical Research and Manufacturing Inc., a global leader in the design and manufacture of passive RF and microwave components, is announcing the changing of its name to TRM Microwave and the launch of its new Web site http://www.trmmicrowave.com.
Company advocates agree the name change is the right move as the name Technical Research and Manufacturing does not connect with customers looking for RF components or integrated assemblies. "We learned through our Voice of the Customer interviews that our customers and business partners refer to us as TRM, and adding Microwave more readily identifies us with the markets we serve" Mark Schappler, COO said.
Along with the name change TRM Microwave is also revealing its new logo and slogan "Completing Your Ideas ". The former logo was established in 1970 to introduce the TRM brand as a manufacturer of custom RF Microwave components to the military, space and commercial markets.
TRM's new logo is intended to connect those customers who may be used to the TRM brand with current and future products as a leading manufacturer of custom passive RF components. TRM established the corporate slogan "COMPLETING YOUR IDEAS" to express the commitment it has to partnering with customers to solve complex requirements of current and future microwave systems.
TRM'S dramatically redesigned site demonstrates their forward-thinking vision and commitment to the growing needs of its customers. Based on extensive research and interviews with customers it offers:
• Clearer messaging on TRM's mission
• Direct access to TRM's product catalog from every page
• More intuitive navigation and streamlined searching
• Easy online quoting
"To better represent the capability and focus of TRM Microwave, it was time for a comprehensive restructuring of the online window to our services," said Mark Schappler. "The new http://www.trmmicrowave.com site is easier to use and will greatly improve the experience of our customers. The online custom quoting capability is now easier than ever." said Schappler.
A major aspect of the new site is the use of a Content Management System. "This launch lays the groundwork for a philosophy of ongoing improvements and expansion of TRM Microwave with new features and improvements being made continually. We look forward to feedback from our customers as we continue to evolve the site and its features."
