LONDON, ENGLAND, May 29, 2011 (Press-News.org) Some of the most famous names in music will head to London this month to take part in the city's brand new BluesFest event.

Running from June 27th until July 3rd, this is a great chance for fans of blues, soul and jazz music to see some truly special concerts from the industry's biggest names.

Stars set to perform at London BluesFest include Liza Minnelli, B.B King, Dr Feelgood, Booker T, Georgie Fame, Al Jarreau and Sandi Thom.

London Mayor Boris Johnson says the event "will add another dimension to the capital's lively schedule of summer festivals", while Olympic organiser Lord Coe welcomed "the exciting prospect of being able to enjoy some of the world's greatest blues and jazz musicians".
