VueSoft Releases Version 8.2 of VueMinder Calendar Pro

VueSoft has released VueMinder Calendar Pro 8.2. This version adds the ability to save calendars to web pages, send voice reminders by phone, hear text-to-speech content of popup reminders, and much more.

2011-05-29
ST. PETERS, MO, May 29, 2011 (Press-News.org) VueSoft has released VueMinder Calendar Pro 8.2. This latest version expands the software's already impressive list of features, adding many new and improved capabilities that will make organizing schedules and sharing reminders even easier.

One of the most exciting new features is the ability to save calendars to web pages. The appearance of the generated web pages can be easily customized for better integration with existing websites. Also, text will dynamically wrap to ensure all event details are shown. This provides a viable alternative to Google Calendar's iframe widget, which lacks many of the abilities found in the web pages generated by VueMinder Calendar Pro.

Another new feature is voice reminders by phone. Events and tasks can now be configured with one or more scheduled voice reminders, which can be phoned to individual contacts or entire distribution lists. Many organizations could utilize this new feature to decrease no-show appointments. In addition, SMS reminders can now be transmitted via the web, regardless of the recipient's country or mobile carrier.

VueMinder Calendar Pro 8.2 also includes a number of other significant improvements, including the ability to hear text-to-speech content of popup reminders, more robust online/offline calendar sharing through a Microsoft SQL Server 2008 back-end, an improved user interface, optional password protection of calendar data, simplified data synchronization with VueMinder Calendar Portable (USB), several convenient new menu commands including "New Appointment for Contact", runtime performance improvements, and much more. These improvements were based on VueSoft's unparalleled attention to customer feedback and suggestions.

VueMinder Calendar Pro is available as a fully functional 60-day trial. It can install on Windows XP, Vista, and 7. A scaled down version, VueMinder Calendar Lite, is also available and is free for both personal and business use.
