His appearance at Bournemouth's Pavilion Theatre will give fans of the Black Books star a chance to experience the joys of Yeah, Yeah, his latest stand-up show.

Moran is famous for his sardonic and surreal brand of observational humour, which generally pokes fun at the absurdities of life and makes light of his own experiences.

As well as being a regular performer at comedy festivals around the world, he has notched up roles in hit films such as Notting Hill, Shaun of the Dead and Run Fatboy Run.

Black Books, the sitcom Moran created alongside writer Graham Linehan and also starred in, quickly became a cult favourite among viewers after debuting on Channel 4 in 2000.

Last year, the funnyman was featured at number 14 in Channel 4's updated list of the world's 100 greatest stand-ups.

Tickets to see the 39-year-old performer in Bournemouth are now available online, priced at GBP23.00. The show is due to begin at 20:00 local time.
