CANTON, OH, June 03, 2011 (Press-News.org) Dr. Naik was previously Medical Director at Valley View Medical Center in Ft. Mohave, Arizona. She has been with EMP Partners (formerly EPMG) since 2004 and completed the prestigious EMP Scholars Program in 2010. Dr. Naik has served as an Attending Physician in the St. Rose Dominican Hospitals' Emergency Departments. During that time she has made a name for herself as the Director for Disaster Planning overseeing the three St. Rose Emergency Departments, where over nearly 120,000 patients visit annually. Dr. Naik supervised University of Nevada School of Medicine EM residents during their Community ED rotations at the St Rose Hospitals as well. Dr. Naik has also taken on the role of Assistant Medical Director at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, being awarded by the Las Vegas Motor Speedway as the Most Improved Infield Care Center for 2009 - an honor no other care center has received.
Tressa Naik, MD, earned her Doctorate in Medicine from Tulane Medical School in New Orleans after finishing her undergraduate work in Biochemistry at the University of California, Davis. She went on to complete her EM Residency at the University of California Davis Medical Center. She has worked as an Emergency Physician in California, Alabama and Nevada. She earned the Golden Stethoscope Award in 2009. Dr. Naik is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians as well as the Nevada chapter, and a member of the International Council of Motorsport Sciences.
Dr. Naik is assuming the position of Site Director from Lance Allgower, DO, FACEP, who served in this position from February 2006 to April 31, 2011. EMP recognizes and salutes the significant contributions of Dr. Allgower as he assumes a new position.
