With the economy still struggling, growth on this new business has been tough. But, sales have grown slowly, and the number of pages on the website has also grown.

"This first year has been a growing experience. I have learned about building a website, organizing the design of the website for easy maintenance and updates, basic accounting skills for a product (verses service) oriented business, and search engine optimization activities. I have also had to learn various problem solving techniques to update the site for the new Microsoft Internet Explorer version 9." stated owner Wayne McDonald. "Using Google Checkout has also proven to be a good choice." added McDonald.

To celebrate this milestone, the Vitamin Mineral Shop is offering Vitamin Power's most recent new product, Women's Superfood Multi-Nutrient Herbal Complex, at a twenty percent discount until the end of June 2011.
