Zarafa Brings New Community Hub and Certifications Program to the EMEA Red Hat Partner Summit

THE NETHERLANDS, June 08, 2011 (Press-News.org) Zarafa, the leading European provider of open source groupware and collaboration software, has launched the Zarafa Community Hub, accessible through http://www.zarafa-community.org.This new community site enables partners and Zarafa Community members to manage their contributions such as extensions and plugins.

Remon van Gijn, Release & Community Manager of Zarafa, says: "To boost user driven innovation, our new Community Hub facilitates the creation of social communities around integrations with the Zarafa Collaboration Platform (ZCP). With this dedicated outlet for all community people involved, we aim at optimizing interaction and sharing knowledge".

To give the Zarafa ecosystem another impulse, the open source groupware vendor has introduced a new certifications program for integrations, http://www.zarafa.com/content/zarafa-certified-zarafa-ready-integrations. Once registered in the Zarafa project directory and meeting criteria, projects can apply to become Zarafa Ready or Zarafa Certified, http://www.zarafa.com/content/get-your-integration-certified-zarafa or even get official (end customer) support by Zarafa.

Co-sponsoring the EMEA Red Hat & JBoss Partner Summit (June 5-8 2011, Dublin) for the fourth year in a row, Zarafa emphasizes its important role in the ecosystem. Zarafa's community adoption started with Zarafa's inclusion in Red Hat's community distribution Fedora. In the last 10 months Zarafa has been adopted by nearly all other leading Linux distributions like Canonical's Ubuntu, openSUSE and altLinux.
