Sales Heat Up at Trellis in Chula Vista with Four New Home Sales in Recent Weeks

Four homes have sold in the last two weeks at Trellis at Windingwalk by Brookfield Homes.

2010-09-16
SAN DIEGO, CA, September 16, 2010 (Press-News.org) Four homes have sold in the last two weeks in Phase 6 at the new home neighborhood of Trellis at Windingwalk by Brookfield Homes.

"Buyers are taking advantage of the record low interest rates, our reduced prices and the incentive dollars available to help buyers pay closing costs, upgrade flooring and, in the case of VA loans, pay off debt such as car loans or credit cards," said Lora Heramb, vice president of sales and marketing. According to the San Diego Association of Realtors, the median sales price and number of homes sold in August were both up. This has been an ongoing trend over the past year regarding sales prices.

"People are searching for the best new-home options and they are ready to purchase, as sales from referrals and the website show," Heramb said. "A Navy couple stationed in Japan found Trellis online and then called and emailed our sales representatives to gather as much information as possible. Dozens of photos later, they decided to purchase. And when they finally saw their new home in person, they loved it."

With prices starting from the $440,000s, and builder incentives worth $20,000, Trellis offers excellent value for homebuyers. Four floor plans are available, ranging from approximately 2,361 to 2,620 square feet. The two-story homes have four to five bedrooms, 2.5 to three baths and two-car garages. Exteriors showcase classic architectural styles, including Spanish, Craftsman and California Cottage details.

As a result of sales success in Phase 6, seven homes in Phase 7A at Trellis recently were released for sale. All Trellis residents have use of amazing recreational amenities at Windingwalk, which include the newly opened $5 million Winding Oaks recreation center with two large pools, fully equipped gym, community room, barbecue area and much more. The centrally located park offers tennis, basketball, softball field, skate board park, playground and picnic area. The $3 million Winding Trails recreation center is also open to Windingwalk residents.

Trellis interiors, per plan, incorporate formal living and dining rooms, a butler's pantry, gourmet kitchen island and downstairs bedroom suite. Trellis homes include granite kitchen countertops, maple cabinets and stainless steel appliances. Each home also has a convection oven and microwave. Other standard features included in Trellis homes are: built in security system, front yard landscaping, and side and backyard fencing.

For additional details about incentives and more information about Trellis at Windingwalk in Chula Vista, visit the model homes at 2346 Trellis St. in Chula Vista, or call 888-520-3599.

In addition to recreation opportunities, Windingwalk amenities include the Marketplace, a 9-acre retail center featuring a Vons grocery store, In N Out Burger, Oggi's Pizza, Achieote Mexican restaurant, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Happy Nails Salon, Kelleher Cleaners, Keddington Optometry, and more.

Just west of Windingwalk is the Otay Ranch Town Center, with popular retail stores, several dining options and entertainment, including the AMC Otay Ranch 12 movie theaters.

When completed, the master-planned community of Windingwalk will include approximately 2,300 residences, community facilities, a public park, retail elements, office space, and elementary, junior high and high schools.
