GLASGOW, SCOTLAND, September 16, 2010 (Press-News.org) In the world of Life Coaching there is a popular adage that states "If you do the same things in the same way, you'll get the same results. To expect different results is a sign of madness."
This is what Allan Wilson, owner of Success365, Life Coaching and personal development consultants found himself doing for over a period of almost 30 years.
Wilson who now heads up his own company Success365 which specialises in Life Coaching and Motivational Speaking, spent many years trying his hand at various businesses before realising that he had to change himself first before he could get the success he so desperately craved.
Now based in Glasgow, Scotland after several years living and working in Ontario, Wilson says "I was doing the same things, having the same thoughts and feelings and getting angrier, more confused and frustrated and expecting a different outcome".
"Naively, I didn't know that I could change my thoughts from being destructive to a more controlled, purposeful and peaceful mental ethos."
Wilson reached an all time low in the late 90s and decided something required serious change. With the help of his immediate family, to whom he says "he owes a great debt for their support." Wilson embarked on a learning journey of self discovery which led to him becoming a Life Coach and Motivational Speaker.
With almost 10 years of experience in the world of personal development he states that his "magnificent obsession is helping others identify their passion and assist them to clarity on their journey."
Having utilised his talents in the field of personal development and Coaching, extensively for several years, he now facilitates Presentations and Workshops both paid and voluntary in many locations across the UK, and continues to build strong ties with a growing audience in Canada.
Wilson considers himself very fortunate that he got the chance to start again and concerns himself at the growing number of people who tolerate second rate lives.
"I regularly meet people who complain about their lot in life but are prepared to do absolutely nothing about it. It's quite frightening that they will strictly maintain the status quo for fear of failure or risk anything outside of their comfort zone."
Wilson added "One on One Coaching is not for everyone and many people take advantage of our group workshops or presentations which allow them a degree of ease with which to face personal challenge. However, face to face provides a strictly confidential relationship and follows the client agenda, the aim is to self empower the individual to embrace new possibilities and higher achievement. Once a prospective client reaches the realisation that they have the power to make change, as a Coach we can help them get clear on direction using many techniques and clever questioning skills to create a collaborative alliance. The client is in control and they dictate direction, timing and accountability periods."
"Many people are recognising the power of a Life Coaching relationship, and what used to be a preserve of the "Rich and Famous" is finding it's way into everyday life," states Wilson
Eric Schmidt the CEO of Google recently said "Everyone should have a Coach."
Wilson definitely subscribes to this view and dreams of a world where Coaching becomes part of the norm "Imagine parents coaching and educing values from their children and raising awareness of limiting beliefs while assisting them to reach for the stars."
His belief in this possibility extends to his investing time and money in an extensive range of Life Coaching Workshops, Short Courses and Speaking Services which deliver Motivation and Coaching to a larger audience where group Coaching is used with incredible impact.
Wilson concluded "I've invested myself wholly in something I believe in, something that I'm passionate about communicating to others."
There is no doubting Allan Wilson's excitement and enthusiasm for Motivating and Inspiring others, he is knowledgeable and appears dedicated to his chosen course, and simply oozes passion and purpose.
He also believes that this type of service should not be exclusive because of cost and has set up a cost effective vehicle through the Meetup Application on the web in order that anyone can take advantage of group synergy and encouragement in a relaxed and supportive environment. Positively Alive! is the Meetup name and was devised by Wilson and his Canadian partner Lesley to offer an alternative approach to maintaining life balance. The meetings are organised monthly in Glasgow and Ontario and all are welcome.

Going Green with Synthetic Grass Surfaces
2010-09-16
With water conservation and a lower maintenance regimen among the several benefits, more people each day are making the switch and implementing synthetic grass.
The initial cost of installation may seem high, but it's far more economical in the long run. No more mowing, irrigation, or chemicals to keep that grass looking its best. With a 15-20 year lifespan, synthetic turf maintains the look of real grass and eliminates the need for expensive fertilizers and other maintenance services. In the end, you'll save time and put some green back into your wallet.
