They happily granted the wishes of 531 local children, as well as 262 non-local children's wishes they helped to facilitate for children whose wishes included visits to New York.

For some of these children, these wishes can be the first experience they have ever had on a vacation, or even simply having a small dream fulfilled. Most unfortunately, for many, it will be the last. The last chance at a fanciful dream, and the last chance the family may have to snap happy photos and build lasting and loving memories.

Obviously, fulfilling these wishes cost money. Funding only comes from individual and corporate donations, special events, grants, and even workplace donations and gifts.
