Gonarezhou Transfrontier Park Keeps Improving its Services

The Gonarezhou Transfrontier Park in Mozambique has a new chopper at its disposal. It is a sponsor gifts from WREI, which will help the park rangers protect the endangered animal species.

2011-06-12
PRAGUE, June 12, 2011 (Press-News.org) The ZS-RDC helicopter, which was donated to the Gonarezhou Transfrontier Park by World Renewable Energy Investment LTD, will mainly serve in catching and controlling the movement of the rhinos. This essential transport aircraft will save the local rangers, i.e. park protectors, much time and energy in their regular inspection rounds in the park. They'll be able to monitor and track all the animals moving around in the park much more efficiently. The helicopter will also be regularly available to the visitors and will also help with transporting material.

"Each and every day we try to push the quality of our park up a notch, whether this regards caring for endangered animals, supporting local community, or serving park visitors. In order for us to be able to take care of everyone, we need the appropriate technology," said Marek Fošenbauer, one of the key park managers.

Gonarezhou Transfrontier Park is currently looking for more sponsors to help co finance new projects, which will further develop the overall standard of living in this area.

About Gonarezhou Transfrontier Park

Gonarezhou Transfrontier Park spans across Mozambique and is one of the largest private African parks. It neighbors and fluently ties into the Gonarezhou National Park in Zimbabwe. The primary objective for the Gonarezhou Transfrontier Park is to protect the natural wealth preserved in the area that is practically untouched by humans. Another integral activity of this park is a sensitive, sustainable and long term development of local communities.

Park activities focus on the construction of schools, hospitals, healthcare facilities, water reservoirs or the development of local infrastructure. All these steps are taken with utmost consideration for the environment while respecting the pristine state and beauty of this area.

Currently Gonarezhou Transfrontier Park is looking for other companies, which would get involved in the Community Development Program and help with financing of other planned projects.

2011-06-12
Market reports June 9 show gold and silver continuing to rise as interest rates remain low, making currency based investments less attractive. European Central Bank President Trichet is holding interest rates firm for now, while not ruling out an increase in a month's time. Meanwhile, Federal Reserve Chairman Benanke, speaking in Atlanta June 3, also committed himself to low interest rates for an extended period. Interest rates that remain low offer strong support for gold and other precious metals particularly when set against fears of inflation. "There is strong ...
