MANCHESTER, ENGLAND, June 13, 2011 (Press-News.org) Responding to customer demand, Netcars has developed a selection of simple yet effective website designs, which will display and encourage sales, for those small independent used car dealers who do not already have a website.
Dealers simply list all their stock on Netcars.com and in return, will receive a fully functional website. In addition, all phone calls and emails from potential customers can be tracked and recorded and the website will have built-in Google analytics to monitor activity and referrals.
Reg Rix, managing director of Netcars.com, said: "More and more dealers are realising that a website is essentially an online showroom and the feedback we were getting from our customers was that they didn't have the funds, knowledge or capacity to create and monitor leads from their own website.
"In order to support our dealers further, we decided to launch a free website package where dealers advertise their stock online with us and in return, get a bespoke website, designed by our in-house IT team, complete with Google analytics and a phone call recording capability."
In a bid to make online car shopping easier, simpler and more effective for consumers, Netcars has also upgraded its website to facilitate an iFrame. The iFrame allows visitors to view the searched for cars as part of a toolbar, while enabling them to see the finer detail of the car from the dealer's website, without reloading the entire page.
This will enable consumers to review additional details about a vehicle without navigating away from their current vehicle search results.
Reg said: "We're constantly looking at ways to improve consumers' shopping experiences because this ultimately affects a dealer's bottom line.
"By having more information at their fingertips, online shoppers are more likely to purchase a car and so this latest enhancement to our website should speed up and improve the sale conversion process."
