MADRID, SPAIN, June 15, 2011 (Press-News.org) Some of the world's best freestyle motocross riders will be in Madrid next month for the Red Bull X-Fighters event.
Russia's Alex Kolesnikov, Brice Izzo of France and Australian star Robbie Maddison will be among the daredevils performing breathtaking stunts at the Spanish capital's Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas.
The event will take place on Friday July 15th, with the action due to kick off at 21:00 local time.
Spain represents the second stop on this year's X-Fighters World Tour and is considered by many fans as the home event of the series, as it all began in Valencia ten years ago.
Since 2002, the elite riders of international freestyle motocross have been trying to outdo each other at Las Ventas, the capital's famous bullring.
Maddison emerged victorious in Madrid last year, winning the event ahead of Swiss rider Mat Rebeaud and Andre Villa of Norway.
Tickets for the Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour can be purchased online, with prices ranging from EUR42 to EUR63 (GBP37.30 to GBP55.90).
