Luxury San Diego Pawn Shop Extends Hours
2011-06-16
SAN DIEGO, CA, June 16, 2011 (Press-News.org) San Diego Jewelry Buyers (SDJB) has announced that its downtown luxury pawn shop in the San Diego Gaslamp has extended its hours. San Diegans who wish to pawn or sell gold jewelry, diamonds, Rolex watches, designer handbags, and more can now visit SDJB's pawnbrokers and estate buyers from 9am - 9pm on weekdays and from 10am - 8pm on weekends*.

According to SDJB owner Carl Blackburn, his luxury San Diego pawn shop is increasingly attracting visitors from Riverside and Orange County, so the extended hours will make it easier for out of town clients to pawn, sell, and shop for luxury merchandise with the company. The late and weekend opening hours also make it more convenient for local San Diegans to visit SDJB during their free time. "Diamonds, gold, and silver are all at or near record levels," says Blackburn, "so customers are increasingly coming to us to get the most cash for gold and silver gift assets, as well as old diamond jewelry."

San Diego Jewelry Buyers is able to pay their clients more when they sell silver, gold, and gemstone jewelry because the company is both a gold refinery as well as one of California's most experienced luxury estate buyers. When customers sell gold and silver jewelry that is going to be melted down, SDJB can pay them more than other gold and silver buyers because they don't have to sell their scrap gold and silver to a refinery. SDJB has its own refinery. By cutting out the middle man (i.e. the refinery) that other silver and gold buyers sell to, SDJB can put more cash in their customers' pockets.

Because SDJB is a professional estate jewelry buyer with over 30 years of industry experience, they are experts at being able to identify what jewelry should be melted down and what jewelry should not. "Unfortunately, a lot of jewelry gets sold to "gold refineries" which really shouldn't be melted down. This is a shame for both the customer and the public," says Blackburn. "The customer loses because they get paid only the scrap gold price for their jewelry, and jewelry shoppers lose in not being able to buy that beautiful piece of pre-owned jewelry at a great price."

San Diego Jewelry Buyers' downtown showroom is filled with pre-owned silver, gold, and diamond jewelry, as well as Swiss timepieces and luxury fashion accessories such as designer handbags and shoes. They also have a large national network of retail partners that allows them to pay a premium price for pre-owned jewelry that should not be melted down and designer fashion goods. "This is another reason that we get so many out-of-town visitors," says Blackburn. "We have clients from across Southern California making a day trip or weekend trip to visit us, because they know that not only can they sell diamonds, gold jewelry, and other precious gift assets for top dollar, they also can shop for high-quality pre-owned luxury merchandise at well below the original retail price."

Out of town customers also visit SDJB's luxury pawn shop, because their pawnbrokers offer quick and easy cash loans of up to $250,000 on qualified collateral. Due to SDJB's expertise as an estate buyer and its gold refinery operation, it is able value items at top dollar, thus enabling their clients to get higher loans for their pre-owned jewelry and other luxury merchandise.

San Diego Jewelry Buyers has an A+ rating from the San Diego Better Business Bureau. More than an estate jewelry expert, the company specializes in the buying and selling of all precious metal assets, including sterling flatware and hollowware, old silver dollars and dimes, gold bullion, gold pocket-watches, and more.

To arrange a free loan consultation or free verbal appraisal of your luxury assets, please call SDJB toll free at: 800-557-9413.

*SDJB's retail showroom hours are until 6pm on weekdays & 5pm on weekends.

Located in the Gaslamp Quarter of downtown San Diego, SDJB leverages over 30 years of industry experience and fine jewelry expertise to make certain that customers receive the fairest cash offers and loans for their diamond/gemstone jewelry and premiere brand watches. Serving La Jolla, Rancho Santa Fe, Solana Beach, Carlsbad and other surrounding communities.

Online Auto Insurance Highlights Availability of Safety Discounts

2011-06-16
In a new FAQ published on OnlineAutoInsurance.com, the writers highlight a way to get cheaper insurance prices through making their cars safer and themselves safer motorists. Taking certain measures can in some cases result in a discount on car insurance premiums, but it is often dependent on the types of safety measures taken and the types of auto coverage purchased. State Farm, for instance, provides discounts in some states for having passive-restraint systems and factory-installed airbags that meet certain standards. But those usually only apply to personal injury ...
