SEVILLE, SPAIN, June 16, 2011 (Press-News.org) The Orquesta Joven de Andalucia will showcase the incredible young musical talent the region possesses with a concert featuring the compositions of Ludwig van Beethoven and Pyotr Tchaikovsky.
Seville's Teatro de la Maestranza provides the stage for this special show, which is to be held on June 29th 2011.
Musical director Michael Thomas leads the group, with Margarita Hohenrieder accompanying on piano.
The concert will give attendees the chance to look out for Spanish stars of the future, as well as enjoy tremendous renditions of Beethoven and Tchaikovsky pieces.
Thomas has previously enjoyed a great deal of success at the venue with interpretations of La Mort du Tasse by Manuel Garcia and the Seventh Symphony by Anton Bruckner.
Admission starts from EUR7 (GBP6.15), although only four tickets can be purchased by each person. The performance begins at 20:30 local time.
The theatre can be found on Paseo de Cristobal Colon, which is just up the river from the Puente de San Telmo.
