7 Day Dental Japanese Donation Draws Crowd at Taste of Anaheim

ANAHEIM, CA, June 16, 2011 (Press-News.org) The Taste of Anaheim in Garden Walk saw countless vendors selling all sorts of goodies and savory treats, but there was also plenty of giving going on. The team behind 7 Day Dental Anaheim chose May 12th, 2011 event to present a $1,459.00 donation to Japan earthquake victims. The check was an offering to help rebuild the damage following the May 11th, 2011 destruction. 7 Day Dental states that the monetary amount of $1,459.00 was computed by counting the number of new patients the office saw during the months of March and April.

Japan was recently struck by the most powerful earthquake to hit the island since history has been recorded. At one point, the earthquake reached an 8.9 on the Richter scale. A devastating tsunami followed soon after, leaving untold damage and numbers of deaths in its wake. With Japan's economy now in the balance, thanks in part to several nuclear power plants that were affected and that the Japanese are still attempting to contain, the nation has found itself in dire need. While many nations have heeded Japan's call with various forms of aid, 7 Day Dental wanted to help the Japanese directly. This isn't the first time the dental practice has helped disaster victims.

Dr. Chuck Le, the founder of 7 Day Dental Anaheim, has contributed to the disaster relief experts following the 2004 Thailand tsunami, he helped with the restoration efforts following major conflagrations in Vietnam and he also donated 20,000 toothbrush kits to the earthquake victims in Haiti.
