The Ultimate Dog Show, Dock diving dogs, doggy makeovers, CFA Cat Show, the world-famous Free Flight Bird Show and Creepy Crawly Critter Show are just a few performances that Washingtonians will experience at America's Family Pet Expo at the Puyallup Fair & Events Center in Puyallup, Wash., Friday-Sunday, July 8-10, 2011.
After 22 successful years in Southern California, the expo expands to Washington to provide a weekend of entertainment, with animal performances, stage shows, shopping and the chance to interact with various breeds of dogs, cats, birds, fish, llamas, reptiles, rabbits and exotic animals. There is also the chance to get up close to some of the animals and hold, learn about and adopt them.
Savvy shoppers will enjoy the Pet Product Shopping Mart, where thousands of pet products from major pet manufacturers and local retailers will be on sale at special show prices. Additionally, a key fixture at America's Family Pet Expo is the Pet Adoption Fair, where local adoption agencies and rescue organizations will have hundreds of pets available for adoption. VCA Animal Hospitals, pet adoption sponsor, will support the onsite shelter/rescue organizations' efforts to ensure each adoptee has a healthy start by offering a certificate for a free first exam at one of its hospitals. Whether you're looking to learn about different dog breeds, adopt a furry friend, ride a pony or get up close and personal with exotic animals, America's Family Pet Expo promises to be a weekend of educational fun for the entire family.

• The Aquatic Experience - The Aquatic Experience is an innovative exhibit of 1,000-gallons filled with fish from different regions of the world. Dozens of freshwater fish, saltwater fish and live plants will be featured.
• JUMP! The Ultimate Dog Show - Watch in awe as dogs perform in an exciting, action-packed show featuring incredible stunts choreographed to upbeat music.
• Wiener Races - Watch wiener dogs race for charity as the Wiener Tales' gang introduces you to the Dachshund breed and Rescue.
• Doggy Makeovers - Volunteers from North Sound Professional Pet Stylists will come together and provide free makeovers to adoptable dogs onsite at America's Family Pet Expo looking for forever homes.
• Walk Through Bird Aviary - Watch as birds play and perch in a habitat attendees can enter. Show goers will be able to feed the birds and take pictures of these unique animals.
• The Birdman's Free Flight Bird Show - Experience the magic flights of a variety of birds as Nancy Rouas presents these colorful parrots, noble eagles, musical cockatoos, marvelous macaws, cranes, storks and much more!
