Tripwolf Travel App Now Available For Android

Your mobile travel guide for the Summer: Includes Free Barcelona Guide

VIENNA, AUSTRIA, June 19, 2011 (Press-News.org) After the great success of the tripwolf iPhone app, with over 400,000 downloads, the mobile tripwolf travel guide is now available as an Android app (http://www.tripwolf.com/en/page/android). Just in time for the Summer travel season, Android users now have access to the latest travel tips for more than 70 of the most-traveled cities in the world. In addition to the recommendations from thousands of travelers from the tripwolf community and travel information from the "Marco Polo" and "Footprint" travel guides, the tripwolf app offers city maps, an Augmented Reality Viewer, and free updates.

CEO Sebastian Heinzel on the Android app: "For months people have been asking us when the tripwolf app on Android phones will be available. We are pleased that today we can honor this wish of the tripwolf community."

The popular tripwolf travel app also allows travelers to exchange information during and after their journeys; attractions, restaurants, and hotels can be rated by users directly from their mobile phones. Your pocket guide in unfamiliar cities, the app offers city maps and the "Augmented Reality Viewer," which overlays the relevant attractions in your area directly into the camera viewfinder. A new feature in the tripwolf app are themed tours like "24 Hours in Barcelona."

All tripwolf city guides can be download as "in-app guides." Free previews with 5 tips for each category are available for all destinations. A whole city guide with hundreds of points of interest costs US$ 4.99. All future updates are free, included in the original purchase price.
