What makes this year's festival different is that the organisers have arranged for performers from related disciplines to take the stage.

Carmen Linares, Angel Rojas, Jose Barrios, Josemi Carmona and Rocio Molina are just some of the huge names on the bill, with performances taking place from June 9th until July 2nd.

One of the anticipated highlights is entitled Muerte Sin Fin - 'death without end' - which takes place at the Teatro Real.

It is a musical composed by Mauricio Sotelo that will feature the talents of Juan Manuel Canizares, La Moneta, Arcangel and Juan Diego among others.

The event is not just about live singing and dancing, there will also be film screenings and poetry readings to enjoy.

Admission varies depending on the event, with several venues hosting performances, including Casa Patas, Faena Madrid and Teatro de la Abadia-Sala San Juan de la Cruz.
