Hotels-Paris.co.uk - World Dog Show Arrives in Paris

Annual dog showcase visits the French capital.

2011-06-22
PARIS, FRANCE, June 22, 2011 (Press-News.org) The Federation Cynologique Internationale (FCI) World Dog Show comes to Paris from July 7th-10th, bringing with it the finest pedigree dogs around.

The event, which will take place at Parc d'Exposition Paris Nord Villepinte near Charles de Gaulle Airport, sees each entrant assessed by industry experts, who will determine which of them represents the best example of their breed.

Unlike other dog shows, the dogs do not have to 'perform' for the judges, they simply have to exhibit the characteristics that a perfect example of their breed should possess.

Last year's competition took place in Denmark, while such is the popularity of the event, the next three years have already been allocated to Austria, Hungary and Finland respectively.

However, for the moment, all eyes are on Paris as owners travel in the hope that their pedigree dog takes them all the way to the top prize.

Visitors can find plenty of boutique hotel options at Hotels-paris.co.uk, including the delightful Pershing Hall.
