A Gift of Love is dedicated to six members of FDNY Ten House: Lieutenant Gregg Atlas, Retired Captain James Corrigan, Lieutenant Stephen Harrell, Firefighter Jeffrey Olsen, Firefighter Paul Pansini, Firefighter Sean Tallon and all who perished due to the terrorist attack our nation incurred on September 11, 2001.

Dr. Claus was a second grade teacher in the inner city when he was sent to war. His Unit was activated March 2003 and Dr. Claus was separated from his family for over a year. The heart of stone in the acknowledgement of this story is real.
