Sandy Puc' Creative Edge Children's Tour soars into San Diego

Puc' shares secrets to success in children's photography on U.S. tour.

2011-06-22
SAN DIEGO, CA, June 22, 2011 (Press-News.org) Champion photographer and marketing aficionado Sandy Puc' will be in San Diego on July 8 to share her enthusiasm for, and insightful command of, children's photography through her Boutique Babies and Couture Kids Creative Edge Tour. The tour is set to visit 39 cities across the country during summer and fall 2011.

During the tour, guests will learn a variety of photography essentials, from basics such as shooting techniques and the selection and integration of popular boutique props, to the use of dynamic video fusion. For those who are interested in the business end of the studio, Sandy will also be tackling pricing and marketing strategies that cut through the confusion - and really work! In addition, Sandy will be informing audiences on the developing trends specific to children's photography, including the quirks of interacting with young children and infants, as well as related posing, lighting and more.

"Working with kids is my lifeblood, so I'm thrilled about this tour. Helping others learn the tricks of the trade gives me great satisfaction, and I feel good knowing that I am sharing my know-how to help others succeed," Puc' said of the 2011 tour.

Attendees will also have an opportunity to submit their favorite baby model, whether it is a client's child or their own, as Sandy will be searching for models to be photographed on stage during each workshop. She is looking for children between the ages of newborn infant - 3 months, as well as those between the ages of 18 months - 4 years. Guests will have the opportunity to submit two candidates, but only one per age range. The search officially commences June 15 and will be hosted by SmugMug, an online photo-sharing community. Winners will be announced a week prior to each city tour date and are based completely on attendee and user votes.

In addition to teaching, charity plays a vital role in Sandy's life. As a co-founder of Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep, a non-profit organization of volunteer photographers who provide free sessions and reproducible images for the families of stillborn babies and babies who are expected to die shortly after birth. Sandy will be sharing more about her desire to give the art of photography to every family and child, regardless of their situation.

From the junior photographer to the sage professional, this workshop can help anyone achieve success in children's photography by educating on both skill development and progressive studio management in order to help businesses become the most celebrated, breakthrough studios they can be.
