CYPRESS, CA, June 24, 2011 (Press-News.org) Sun Protection Zone, the leading provider of comprehensive sun protection products, is enthusiastic to make a donation to Concern Foundation's silent auction for the 37th Annual Block Party Fundraiser, Dancing in the Streets. This important event will take place on July 9, 2011 in the back lot of Paramount Studios in Hollywood. The Block Party will honor numerous cancer survivors with the goal to raise awareness and funds for this imperative cause. Concern organizers estimate the event will raise over 2 million dollars to support cancer research.

"Sun Protection Zone is honored to be involved in the 37th Annual Block Party Fundraiser which will aid the Concern Foundation in bringing them closer to their vision of living in a world without cancer once and for all," states Chip Carter of Sun Protection Zone. The company has been actively involved with a number of organizations to promote the importance of a daily sun protection regiment including the Los Angeles Dodgers Summer Youth Program, American Melanoma Foundation and the International Melanoma Foundation.

Established in 1968, The Concern Foundation prides itself on being a multigenerational organization with the a primary focus on "providing salary support to emerging cancer research scientists so that they can further develop new and novel approaches to discover the next generation of breakthroughs that will lead to early detection methods, better and more targeted treatment options, and eventually the 'cure' for cancer in both children and adults."

To date, this primarily volunteer driven non-profit institute has raised over 43 million dollars for 13 different areas of cancer research, both on a national and global level.
