Based in Shropshire in the UK founder and managing director of the "all weather baby store" Lyddia Pearson spoke of the origins of this concept, "We had a family holiday to Cyprus in February and my 15 month son needed swim shorts and reliable kids UV swimwear, these were no where to be found on the high street and extremely difficult to find online.
Similarly, we had a skiing holiday booked for late March and he was then in need of a toddler snowsuit and snow boots, these had long been sold in the shops and although I did find what he needed online it was a lengthy search and all the products came from different outlets. This is when I had the idea of having an online destination for all baby and toddler travel essentials for any holiday whatever the weather conditions."

Lyddia also stresses that they welcome customer feedback and new ideas of what they would like to see at the all weather baby store. "We feel that we must make this site flexible to change and we want customers to see it as their store.
