ST TROPEZ, FRANCE, July 03, 2011 (Press-News.org) May 2011 saw the majority of sales occurring at the smaller end of the market with 24-35m yachts for sale leaving the shipyard ahead of their larger counterparts. Whilst volume was up the overall value was down since smaller yachts accounted for the majority of sales. June 2011, however, saw the number of brokerage deals for large super yachts increase due to steps taken by the owners to reduce asking prices.

M/Y OLD CAPTAIN

Ken Burden of Fraser Yachts and central agent to the unique exploration super yacht M/Y Old Captain has announced a dramatic reduction in her sale price. This Latvian built vessel, ideal for long super yacht charters measures almost 42 metres in length and can accommodate 12 guests in 6 sumptuously appointed suites.
