NORFOLK, ENGLAND, July 06, 2011 (Press-News.org) The Summer Spectacular kicks off at the Hippodrome in Great Yarmouth on Wednesday July 12th.

Running throughout the summer until Sunday September 18th, the event will feature international circus acts, magicians, comedians and many other performers.

People enjoying a holiday in Norfolk can purchase a ringside seat at the historic venue for GBP18.50, while a place in the stalls is priced at GBP17.50 or GBP16.

Family tickets are also available for the show, which is arranged by circus impresario Peter Jay.

Evening performances will get underway at 19:30 BST or 16:30 BST, while the afternoon shows start at 13:30 BST or 14:30 BST.

One of the most popular acts from previous events at the Hippodrome, the Globe of Death bikers, are set to return to give audience members another taste of their breathtaking stunts.

Holidaymakers can also look forward to an appearance by comedy duo Jack Jay and Johnny Mac, one of East Anglia's most popular double acts.

Built in 1903 by renowned showman George Gilbert, the Hippodrome is the only surviving total circus building in the UK.
