Financial Spreads, the UK spread betting company, has expanded its range of markets.The firm, which lets clients speculate on a broad range of markets from the FTSE 100 to Google and from EUR/USD to the price of orange juice, has increased the number of markets that it offers.
Earlier this year the company added differential markets that let investors speculate on the performance of the FTSE 100 versus the Dow Jones as well as the performance of Brent crude oil versus US crude oil. According to Adam Jepsen, spokesman for Financial Spreads, "We already offer clients more than 2,000 markets but it's important to constantly improve the service and that includes widening the choice of markets. That's why we have added markets such as Singapore dollar/Japanese yen."
However forex spread betting has not been the only area where the firm has improved, "There have been some impressive IPOs this year and naturally we have added markets such as Glencore and LinkedIn so that account holders can spread bet on whether the respective share prices will go up or down," added Jepsen.
Although the US markets are not new to Financial Spreads, the spread betting company has also added an extra NASDAQ market. This means clients are better equipped to take advantage of the resurgence in tech stocks."
