LONDON, ENGLAND, July 08, 2011 (Press-News.org) Guoman's The Royal Horseguard hotel, London's AA Hotel of the Year, has announced the launch of its all-new afternoon tea, Mini-tea.
With the summer school holidays fast approaching once again, parents are starting to think up new and entertaining ways to spend time with their young ones. July sees the launch of The Royal Horseguards' Mini-tea, allowing parents to indulge in a delicious high tea while their children get to turn their play-time tea parties into a real-life afternoon tea experience.
Perfect for aspiring little ladies and gents that lunch, the hotel's inventive head pastry chef, Joanne Todd, has handcrafted the fun yet balanced Mini-tea which comes complete with a complimentary colouring-in book - a fun takeaway for after the experience has finished. The innovative menu puts a twist on the usual afternoon tea suspects and includes Sparkly fairy cakes, Traffic light fruit kebabs, Milk chocolate dinosaurs, Alphabet whole-wheat shortbread and White chocolate and raspberry puzzle, all rounded off with a delicious Rainbow smoothie shot.
The treats are accompanied by a selection of sandwiches including ham, cheese, cucumber and egg - without the crusts of course.
In true 'grown-up' style, the Mini-tea menu comes complete with scones, Cornish clotted cream and English preserves - as well as the choice of tea, baby chai latte, babyccino or fruit juice.
Parents can choose from the wide range of afternoon tea options available everyday at the hotel, ranging from the classic Royal Horseguards option to the champagne tea, His Majesty's Own Troop.
The five-star hotel has a unique outdoor Terrace that provides the perfect sunny space to enjoy afternoon tea as a family. Away from the hustle and bustle of London life, the enclosed alfresco area provides stunning views of the London Eye, and most importantly, plenty of room and a safe environment for the children to run around.
The Mini-tea is available at Guoman's The Royal Horseguards from 30th June until 4th September 2011.
Additionally, The Royal Horseguards boasts Preferred Family Certification, with 'Kids Corner' menus available throughout the hotel and amenities such as connecting rooms, high chairs, cribs and cots, children's games and books and babysitting services - making it the ideal location for a family getaway. Customers who book their weekend break now can make the most of Guoman's summer hotel offers for stays between 22nd July and 4th September 2011.

When we try to understand and fix the mess in education we keep going back to trying to improve how we teach subjects like math and science. Actually our math and science education is well set and the mess lies elsewhere. It is due to lack of even a single subject that teaches emotional intelligence.
