ATLANTA, GA, July 10, 2011 (Press-News.org) Just because you've studied accounting in college, doesn't mean you can provide quality services to your typical auto body shop. The business and operational principles of an auto body shop are different from your typical retail or manufacturing business, according to accounting expert, Kirk Ward, who will present a free webinar in his weekly "Let's Talk On Thursday" accountantcy marketing and brainstorming webinar.
Contrary to the idea that accounting principles are transferable, accounting firms have discovered that each industry they serve has it's own unique set of operating systems and procures, and what may be the norm in one industry may not be appropriate for another. In fact, the IRS has developed audit programs for over 100 different industries and niches.
According to Ward, these differences can be identified and learned. In this free webinar, he will explain what the myths and the facts are surrounding an accountant marketing to the auto body shop industry as a new specialty.
Kirk Ward is the founder of Secrets of Marketing Accounting Services (http://secrets-of-marketing-accounting-services.com) and editor of a series of guides and publications which can be downloaded from the site.
