End Bullying Now! Contest

NAAFA's going back to The Hill and we want to take with us messages from the kids who are being bullied the most. Fat kids have been left out of The Safe Schools Improvement Act of 2010!

2011-07-10
FOSTER CITY, CA, July 10, 2011 (Press-News.org) Are you a kid who has been bullied because of your body size? Have you been called names or pushed around? Are you tired of it and ready to do something to stop it?

NAAFA is an organization that wants to help stop the bullying. We are going to Washington, DC to talk with lawmakers about bullying based on body size. We want to take your message with us to our Press Conference at the National Press Club in August.

Would you like to win an iPad 2 or a $50 iTunes gift card? Here's how to do it. Create a 30-60 second PSA telling us your story. Tell us about your experience and how it made you feel. Tell us what happened as a result of this incident. Tell us what you would like to see happen to stop bullying. Watch our website (www.naafa.org) for details coming soon about this exciting contest beginning July, 15, 2011.

If you are between the ages of 6 and 18 and you want to put an end to fat bashing and bullying, we are looking for you!

Founded in 1969, NAAFA is a non-profit human rights organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for fat people. NAAFA works to eliminate discrimination based on body size and provide fat people with the tools for self-empowerment through public education, advocacy, and member support.
