Motorcycle Riding Concepts of Fairfax and Dumfries, VA Announces New Online Store to Enroll Motorcycle Riding Students

Virginia motorcycle school launches new website.

MERRIFIELD, VA, July 19, 2011

Northern Virginia motorcycle school Motorcycle Riding Concepts (MRC, saddleupVA.com) announced it has launched a new version of SaddleupVa.com to more easily enroll motorcycle rider students.

"The new site lets new students view, reserve and pay for thei rmotorcycle classes," Motorcycle Riding Concepts President Jesse Bowman said. "Students can use the site to sign up for the Motorcycle Safety Foundation Basic Rider Course (MSF BRC). The beginner class is approved by the Virginia DMV, meaning graduates get their motorcycle driver permit.

"To get a Virginia motorcycle driver's license the student must pass written and driving motorcycle tests. Students who complete MRC's Basic Rider Course receive a Virginia DMV Completion Certificate and an MSF Completion Card. The certificates grant students the rightto ride their motorcycle for 30 days after receipt. Riders turn in the certificates at the Virginia DMV to get their Virginia Class-M motorcycle endorsement.

MRC offers individual, beginner, advanced and expert motorcycle training. Bowman says that MRC courses help students get their motorcycle riding licenses, but that SaddleupVA.com training emphasizes safety first.

MRC's instructors are all police motorcycle officers. "Motorcycle riders who receive initial formal training are less likely to be involved in a preventable crash," said Bowman. "Our students will benefit from our instructors who ride motorcycles in all types of weather and traffic conditions, for a living."

MRC was founded in 2004 by 5 active duty police motorcycle officers who work in a large metropolitan area. Motorcycle classes that are offered and tailored to meet the student needs include new rider, advanced, expert and individual motorcycle training.

MRC motorcycle classes give you skills in braking, curve negotiation and collision obstacle avoidance. Successful completion of our Basic Rider Course earns you the Virginia Motorcycle endorsement. Our other class offerings are intended to build upon the basic fundamentals and help riders to become more proficient and enhance their safety on the road.
