"This presentation will discuss the rationale for near-miss reporting, including identification of near misses and net benefits of increased reporting, as well as best practices in change management and adopted strategies to increase crew participation."
Hocke said the presentation will also take a look at the role of data and how companies can adequately plan their analysis from beginning to end of the program's implementation.
Ron deBruyne, founder and CEO of Edoc Systems Group Ltd., will be the featured webinar speaker. His experience implementing enterprise software in the workboat industry has allowed him to test and validate change management strategies in a variety of environments.
DeBruyne currently chairs Edoc's Safety Advisory Board, which is made up of safety educators, auditors and officers from across the workboat industry. The goal of the board is to assist in the development of a Safety Management System built specifically for the workboat industry.
