LEEDS, ENGLAND, September 20, 2010 (Press-News.org) Leeds and London-based digital production company Bradley.tv has directed and produced the UK launch music video for British Bollywood star, dubbed Asia's answer to Britney Spears, Annie Khalid.
Born in Lahore, Annie moved to England with her family when she was six, but she is a superstar back in Pakistan where she is one of the country's most recognisable faces and the trendsetter in bilingual singing - she has sold several million of her debut album Mahyia. Her second album has recently been released worldwide, but is not yet available in the UK.
At home in the UK the 23-year-old is an unknown, but she is now launching her domestic pop career with dance track 'Be My Baby' mixed by DJ Judge Jules, and a music video directed and produced by Bradley.tv. All proceeds from the single are being donated to help victims of the Pakistan floods.
The deal to produce the music video - which will have separate premieres in the UK, Pakistan and Norway, where Annie is also a well-known pop star - is the latest in a series of film production deals for Bradley.tv, which is the fastest-growing digital video production company in the UK.
Nick Bradley, Director at Bradley.tv, said: "We were thrilled to receive this enquiry from the other side of the world - a film brief to launch the UK career of an Asian pop sensation and her UK debut music video.
"We've had full creative licence for the production which, although filmed specifically for Annie's debut release for a UK audience, will be seen by hundreds of million worldwide thanks to her huge global following.
"Everyone is really pleased with the final cut and how it portrays Annie's persona and infectious music style. We're sure it will help her rocket to stardom in the UK, mirroring her global success."

The Video
'Be My Baby' is Annie Khalid's first music video for the UK market. Produced by Bradley.tv, it will also be released worldwide and will feature on MTV as well as other well-known international music video stations.
Set in London, it focuses on Annie's love of music and unassuming nature. In the story, Annie catches the attention of a young guy who is instantly absorbed by her presence. The sequence follows Annie as she walks to a cafe consumed in her music, oblivious she's lost her scarf. The guy finds her scarf and tries to return it to her. The intention is to mirror the urban, inner-city feel of the song while playing homage to Annie's Pakistani roots. The four-minute video was filmed at ten locations in central London from September 3-5, 2010 using RED ONE camera systems.
The Star
Growing up in London, Annie Khalid's rise to fame is a modern fairytale. Born in Lahore, Pakistan in 1987, she came to UK at the age of 6 months, grew up in East London, then later moved to Essex with her parents. As a child she was a part of the East London Dance company.
In 2005, sitting bored at home, she started humming a melody. She took that melody to a friend who introduced her to a music arranger. Together they came up with a very simple, yet catchy song which Annie called 'Mahiya', which means 'baby/darling'. Friends and family encouraged her to take it a step further and it became an overnight hit in her native Pakistan and was the most accessed Pakistani pop song on the Internet for both 2005 and 2006.
Fame followed and Annie won the 'Most Wanted Song', 'Most Wanted Female 2006' and also 'The Most Wanted Female 2008' at the TMA (The Music Awards) viewers' choice awards. She was signed as the face of Pepsi Pakistan, with her face adorning bottles, cans, billboards and TV commercials across the country; she has also been the brand ambassador for Norwegian telecom company, Telenor, one of the biggest telecoms provider in Pakistan. In April 2010 Annie modelled at Pakistan Fashion Week in Karachi for L'Oreal.
In 2010 Annie was in Norway raising money with Red Cross for the flood victims in Pakistan. Through her registered charity Annie would like to raise health and education awareness and build bridges across communities worldwide, with ambitions to work as a Peace Ambassador.
Annie is also a well-known celebrity in neighbouring India where she recorded a song and video for Bollywood movie 'Awarapan' directed by top Bollywood Cinema moguls Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt.

Taxes
"The only thing certain is death and taxes" -Ben Franklin.
It often happens that for one reason or another you owe back taxes. The IRS can be relentless in their pursuit for payment. It may seem like filing for Bankruptcy would get the tax man off your back, but this is not necessarily the case. The Franchise Tax Board and the Internal Revenue Service really don't like to lose money.
How you can tell if your tax debt is likely to be discharged with a Chapter 7 bankruptcy? Here is a good rule of thumb. ...

Short Sale vs. Foreclosure
A lot of our clients aren't sure what the effects of losing their real property are. There are several schools of thought. I will only (attempt) to address the differences as they pertain to bankruptcy.
Warning: gross generalization and simplification ahead
If you choose to short sale your house it would look like this. First you would list your home with a qualified agent. This agent would get the banks permission to do a short sale. They would then gather several (hopefully) offers and submit them to the bank. The highest one wins ...

Visible Intoxication Under the Michigan Dramshop Act
Whether an after-work happy hour, televised sporting event or an all-night celebration, many different events draw patrons to their local bars. While these times can be occasions for fun and socializing, bars and driving are not necessarily a safe cocktail. According to the Michigan Annual Drunk Driving Audit, there were 6,271 people injured and 351 people killed in crashes involving alcohol or drugs in 2009.
Dramshop laws were created to deter bars from over-serving customers. If a patron is over-served and is ...
