Clover Spa's Great British Skinny dip raises GBP350 for charity

The Clover Spa and Hotel hosted a Great British Skinny Dip and raised GBP350 for Prostate Cancer Research.

2011-07-22
NOTTINGHAM, ENGLAND, July 22, 2011 (Press-News.org) The Clover Spa and Hotel on Chester Road in Birmingham invited us all to dare to bare and raised GBP350 for Prostate Cancer Research. The naturist hotel hosted a Great British Skinny Dip from 5pm on Friday 15 July until 5pm on Sunday 17 July

Guests had the chance to relax in the warmth and luxury of the Spa's hot tub before taking the charity dip into the cold plunge pool. 30,000 men in the UK were told that they had prostate cancer in 2010 so making the splash helped to raise valuable cash for this much-needed cause.

The Clover Spa and Hotel's Owner Tim Higgs said, "We decided to do this in honour of one of our customers who was diagnosed with prostate cancer last year, and who, due to quick action, is thankfully now recovering. We raised awareness of Prostate Cancer and Clover Spa as well as raising more thanGBP 350 for the charity, which is fantastic. All in all the weekend was a great success!"

The event ran all weekend and was free to take part in; all that was asked was a donation to the charity, however large or small. Guests were given the option of coming just for the event or to stay and make a weekend of it and having the chance to experience freedom of life, without clothes.

Designed with just seven individual and elegant rooms , the hotel is great for groups, couples and friends alike wishing to enter a world of relaxation, calm and pampering. Each room has an en suite wet room and heated floor tiles, along with luxury Hungarian goose down duvets and pillows to ensure the ultimate night of sleep.

About Us:
Clover Spa opened in early 2011 in Birmingham and was founded by owner Tim Higgs. A boutique offering, the hotel boasts seven double bedrooms, each individually designed. The spa offers indoor and outdoor treatments with full day visits from as little as GBP45per person or GBP60 per couple. Overnight visitors can enjoy the spa and gardens, but day guests are also welcome. For more information or to book please visit the website or call 0121 350 6836.
